Decided to risk frozen fingers and head out today at Poole Harbour for the first time since late November. Good Day, about 20/30knots, sun shining and about 8 degrees. Freezing hands after about ten mins in the water, then they warmed up and it was all good. Overpowered on a 5.2, 76l.
Plenty of teabaggers and a dozen windsurfers. Good to get windsurfing again, may this year be a good one for everyone!

Good old Poole Harbour!!
Been too long Jamie, I may need to pop down some time this
year. Did you not fancy sailing off the main beach round
the corner in the swell?
Probably practising vulcans instead?
Have you got a wardrobe yet anyway?

First time out in Poole, I wasnt that impressed really, it was good, but nothing special really. Especailly with the walk out and then walk back. But my mate was kitesurfing, so had to rig and set off from the shallowest place, and he was driving. Gutted. Vulcans? I wish, I was "getting my feet" since its been so long
Which beach? Seaside of Sandbanks? There's never any swell unless its East to south wind. Was a bit fickle there anyway because it was offshore for that beach. The beaches all along the front of bournemouth have a dirty big cliff behind them, so if theres even a hint of North in the wind then its absoloute rubbish - yesterday was the same. So chose Poole because it worked, apparently, and it did!
They're still "processing the claim" its been nearly two months now But I've heard the max payout is now 1100. Which is good, since the case had about about that much in. Fingers Crossed!

So did I but at Mar Menor Spain.
A retirement home for windsurfers.
Average age 75.
Feels good to be the youngest.

Yeah the seaside to sandbanks is the beach I'm on about
Jamie
Won't work in a Northerly but in the prevailing SW it
worked really nicely the last time I sailed down there.
Timo Mullen and Co were busting out loops on the way out
and slashing and burning on the way in. There's also a
place that does nectar chunky chips which is always a bonus
post-session
Hopefully you'll get your case situ sorted soon. Give me a
shout for a skinny once 'the profit' comes through

Jamie
You based down in Bournemouth area?
If so son Rich can probably give you the low down and
perhaps get out with you sometime. He's been in Bournemouth
for 6 years and presently works at the Urban Reef
bar/restaurant at Boscombe.
