Joe, Your enthusiasm is amazing

5 Degrees plus a NE windchill will make it unbearable for my 'Fairy Soft' hands ! but I hope you score some good conditions.

By the way the North Shore of Maui is set to 'Go Off' in the next few days and its 28 degrees all day long ! Bit further in the car than Boulmer though !

See you when we finally get some Spring warmth !

Aloha !

Pete

North Shore of Maui sounds a lot better than Boulmer
although I'm not sure I have 'the minerals' or skills for
Jaws quite yet?

Having been in with the SUPs the last couple of weeks the
water temp isn't actually that bad!

See you and your fairy soft hands in April if not before

Joe

I would join you joe but the Mrs is 6 days overdue and it's raining allday. Don't think I will get the pass

Hi Joe,

Can't sail today or tomorrow. Are you gonna head out on Sunday if the wind holds? I might venture up North if there is going to be somone to sail with.

Si - didn't realise you were expecting. Fingers crossed for
you mate

John - give me a bell if it holds 07779 127230.

We're going to check out Blyth on the way up to Seaton
Point. Rainy and rowdy but keen to get in.

Report to follow...

What a session!! Has to be in my top 5 NE wave sailing
days

Seaton Point officially rocks in the NE

Beautiful clean lines, port tack jumping and starboard
down the line riding - doesn't get much better.

105L with 5.7m was just nice. Water wasn't too cold but
hands did initially suffer without gloves.

Don't get me wrong the conditions were physically
demanding (3 degrees) but I'm now sat on the couch with a
cold lager with a huge grin on my face

'The Oracle' informs me there might be a milder spell in
the post so hopefully we'll see a few more folk braving
the colder conditions.

Nice one Joe,

Like I said on a previous post, I think it is one of the
best places to windsurf in Northumbria.
