In response to Gavin's concerns about windsurfing
amnesia...

Low pressure finally arriving - should be bright and breezy
albeit fresh!! Anyone else about or waiting for next
weekend to deliver?

As a side note, I was paddle boarding Saturday (in those
double overhead monsters) and the water temp was fairly
pleasant (no bally)

It's been FAR too long!!

How's yer back holding up Steve, I'm missing the crack on the beach but I'm not risking doing anymore damage to the body untill it gets above 8C, hopefully get back out soon though. Are you still customising moontinbikes with blocks of wood ? We should get a NWC taster ride organised again sometime, could try Glentress.

Looks colder on the hills than it was in the water
Saturday? Those Mormaii wetsuits are quite something!

The standard looks quite advanced too Gavin? Not sure my
Claude Butler and £10 Halfords lid would cut Glentress?

If there's wind tomorrow it will have to be -5 to put me
off as I can barely remember my last outing... probably
Boulmer back in late November

Anyone (Steve the oracle) know where might be feasible in a
pure Easterly?

We've had a quick look at the location guide and I can't
say I know Amble Links well but the abundance of rocks
there has put me off in the past!

Seaton Point might work but again only has 1 tick? Is it
worth a run to Beadnell or would you hold off until Friday?

been back at work since before xmas, physio spot on, back to work in 6 weeks and got full strength back in 10-12 weeks. yes, still modifying and tinkering with wood blocks , cant help it, have to have something to do and think about to keep me mad otherwise i would end up sane like everyone else. .

yes also missing the crack have a new ezzy 4.7m to try. aye, could fancy getting out again the longer daylighthours and a bit sunshine spurs you on but some of your photos of mtb rides make you remember the adventure and fun.

boulmer tides are fine, just watch the rocks, a few beaches work but if it is easterly it gets mushy everywhwere, more so at any exposed beach.

temperatures still cold but it may get to a barmy 6 degrees(but wet) later in the week.............

max temp wed and thurs may only be about 4 degrees................with a wind chill..........will chill out instead of chill inside.
